At Metaphor
One of Indian cinema and literature's most celebrated voices, Javed Akhtar graced Metaphor in 2022 for the release of Dhanak & Dayera alongside Shabana Azmi and Atul Tiwari. His session moved effortlessly between Urdu verse, film memories, and sharp social commentary, demonstrating how poetry in Lucknow remains living conversation rather than formal performance.
